The ballots haven't been totally redistributed yet, but the Obama administration, not wanting to waste a moment of Obama Trashes The U.S. Economy Part II, has leaped into action. On Friday it was announced that they have safely locked up 1.6 million acres of western lands, declaring them off limits to oil shale and oil sands development. Who needs a trillion barrels of oil anyway!?
The point is, Obama has kicked into high gear, while we're still working our way through the five stages of grief and loss. To say that we have a herculean task ahead of us is an understatement. The longer we delay, the further behind we get and let's NOT forget that we are going to have to battle some of our own along the way. So ditch the pity party and fast forward all the way to "acceptance". . . Yup, we got our collective asses kicked. Get over it! We've got some ass kicking of our own to do.
