Obama: Taking Matters Into His Own Hands

. . . Now there's a phrase that ought to strike fear into the heart of every thinking American!

In today's Business Insider:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Taking climate change efforts into his own hands, President Barack Obama is proposing sweeping steps to limit heat-trapping pollution from coal-fired power plants and to boost renewable energy production on federal property.

Obama, in a speech Tuesday at Georgetown University, was to announce he's issuing a presidential memorandum to launch the first-ever federal regulations on carbon dioxide emitted by existing power plants, moving to curb the gases blamed for global warming despite adamant opposition from Republicans and some energy producers.

Barack Obama, determined to fulfill his campaign promise to raise the cost of energy for every American, figured that if Congress won't give him what he wants, he'll just sidestep it. You can call it government by executive order or presidential memorandum . . . or you can just call it unconstitutional.  Clearly this is an erosion of  Constitutional principals and a concentration of power that takes us further down the road to tyranny.

With SO many scandals and so much going on, actions like these tend to go unnoticed. Don't let that happen.  Don't let this power grab go unanswered! Pay attention . . . and resist!
