According to White House press secretary Jay Carney we'd all be a lot happier and better off if we'd just stop "obsessing" about those pesky, seemingly elevated, unemployment numbers. Why am I sensing the old "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" flim flam? Seems to me that the number of unemployed Americans ought to matter, REALLY matter. So should the number (8 million) of under employed Americans, and the ever ignored millions of folks who've just given up looking for work entirely. Jay tells us not to look at those figures. Instead, look over there . . . at the 30 straight months of job creation! Funny, he doesn't mention that the number of jobs created don't keep up with the population growth or that a large percentage of those jobs are part time and low paying. But there I go again, peeking behind the curtain! My hope is that more will do the same! Look behind the curtain, we're being scammed. See this administration for what it is . . . a humbug! Unfulfilled past promises, unfulfillable future promises and some promises we fear might actually be kept. There's a humbug in the White House . . . dare I say a very bad man, and an even worse wizard!
