Another Shocking, Provocative, Tasteless Video

. . . but don't look for any torched embassies, burned flags, dead ambassadors, or condemnation from the State Department.  Neither will the creator of this arguably tasteless video be investigated by the Department of Justice or the FBI.  Even those who find this video offensive would agree that it is protected by the freedom of speech clause in our Constitution ... and thus:
“In civilized societies, if you are offended by a cartoon, you do not burn flags, take up guns and raid buildings, chant death to your opponents, or threaten suicide bombings. You write a letter to the editor.”
~Michelle Malkin - 1970
Contrast this with the reaction to the recently infamous "Innocence of Muslims" video.  The Middle East is on fire, roving hordes of Islamists burn American flags while chanting "Death to America" and the State Department can't condemn the video often enough. Rather than write a letter to the editor, the rioters and governments that incite them demand compliance to Islamic blasphemy laws and prosecution of those responsible for the video. Instead of dismissing these ridiculous demands, our current administration listens attentively, apologizes, and then, ignoring freedom of speech issues, threatens the video's author.  Apparently violence and threats of more trump our Constitution!  Unfortunately, we can tell from history that efforts to placate the mob are destined to fail and appeasement at the expense of our Constitution is tyranny.

What should we learn from all this?  First,  notice our governmental double standard.  This liberal administration is good at double standards.  In this case, however, the double standard is more than just annoying, it threatens our Constitutional God given right of free speech.  Do  not trust this administration to protect your rights.

Second, observe the dramatically different response of offended Christians, vs. offended Muslims/Islamists.  While all faiths can be offended (justifiably or not), only one *faith* responds to offense in a violent and destructive manner . . . Can we suggest, not sufficiently *evolved* or *matured*?  Such bad, uncivilized behavior is unacceptable.  This behavior requires no apology on our part and should be responded to accordingly.
