Assume An Attitude Of Gratitude

This past year, to paraphrase a quote, has been "the best of times, and the worst of times"... I'm still looking for the "best" times.  I'm confident they're in there *somewhere* because, after all, I'm a misanthrope, not a pessimist. The trials we've experienced and the circumstances we find ourselves in have caused sleepy Americans to wake up, and for that we should be grateful. We have more trials and battles ahead of us, but all in all we still live in the greatest nation in the world.  We are a blessed people. Reflect on that!

And so, today, for friends, family and the abundant blessings we all too often take for granted, WE GIVE THANKS!
