Barack Obama claims to be seeking a balanced solution to our impending fiscal disaster. He proposes we raise taxes now and talk about spending cuts later. Sound familiar? Ask Ronald Reagan, or George H.W. Bush how similar bargains worked out for them.
I bet even Charlie Brown can shed some light on the subject.
Unlike Charlie Brown, most of us DO mind Obama's dishonesty in addition to being offended by his belief that we're stupid. Unfortunately, it's entirely possible that some members of Congress actually ARE that stupid. And so it is important that we remind our esteemed elected representatives that we will not tolerate surrender in the name of compromise, nor are they to accept the word of their progressive adversaries, even if they offer up a signed and notarized document!
